Fast shipping, very slow Italian customs. Unfortunately I have paid customs fees.

Works as advertised.

Affordable, fast & reliable. I Always get my water hardness strips from ITS Europe! Very helpful team :)

Does the job - nothing special - great price. Has a lot of strips which allows me to test my water monthly.

Worked just like it was supposed to. Finally a strip that could accurately help me adjust our water softener.

I got this to test whether my water softener was working properly before it went of warranty. I know my untreated water has a hardness of 15. When I tested an unsoftened sample from outside hose bib, it read 15. When I tested an inside sample, it read 0-2. Seems my water softener is doing the job, as did this test kit.

I bought these just to verify that my water softener was doing what it's supposed to be doing, I actually found out that the cold water coming out of the kitchen sink is hard water but not the hot water which goes to my dishwasher which is a good thing, the rest of the water in the house cold and hot is soft water. These strips work fast and are very accurate, not as accurate as sending it to a lab but it gives you a General idea to tell you if your softener is working.

We were having issues with hard water and used these test and they worked great

Received the item promptly, exactly as described. Works well.
I would buy from them again.
Thanks

Used to test water before and after water softener system install.
Works as advertised.

Able to check status of salt needed for water softener with this. Low salt equals high calcium in our water. I also appreciate that there is a good quantity of test strips so I don't need to buy a test kit monthly.
Jill K.
Worked just as described. And fast. There’s 30 in the package so they’ll last a long time.

Used these before and after installing our water softener. Seem to be very accurate and super easy to use.

I was having problems with my water softer. I knew my water was not soft and these strips proved it so when I had to call the repairman back I had something reliable to back up what I was telling him.
Anita N.
Perfect for testing our well water.easy to read & enough strips to test multiple sources throughout the house.
Dave R.
I needed to test my hard water and learn how it measures up. The kit comes with many strips, instructions and a color scale to educate you about the water you are testing. It proved useful in confirming I have a hard water problem.

Worked perfectly. We have a water softener that I was try to convince my husband was no longer working. I couldn't convince him because he just kept saying it was using salt. Well low and behold our water was extremely hard according to the strip color. We called someone out to service the unit and now our water is nice and soft :)
Boulderito K.
Seemed to work but I have no way of verifying the accuracy. But how much accuracy do you need to set a dishwasher water softener? Easy to use unless you have bad color vision or are really stupid.
Whitney T.
I liked the ease of use!
No-brainer test strips!
Laura G.
Good price for water test strips I used these to rest my washing machine water for washing cloth diapers. Easy to use, easy to read, good price.
Nicholas G.
These are perfect for randomly checking your water hardness to insure your softener is still working and set right.
Great deal!

Bought these strips to confirm my water hardness. Wasn't sure I needed so many but sure glad the package was large. Easy to read and the testing process couldn't be easier.
Paul Y.
hese strips did exactly what they were advertised to do. Put the strips into the water and match the color.
Margaret
Test worked great! Needed to test the hardness so I could properly wash our cloth diapers. Quick and easy read and plenty of strips left over. Not sure if we will ever use all of them, but the test was needed and it did its job. Recommend this!
Randy P.
Had new water softener and reverse osmosis systems installed and I wanted to monitor my water. It's a little difficult to distinguish exactly between the first two colors but it's results are right in line with the professional testing equipment that the representative used each time.
Mike S.
Good, clear indicator of soft water Easy directions and have used three of the strips; hopefully they are indicating correctly in that they show our softener is working just fine!
Daniel H.
They appeared to work as advertised. I don't know much, but the color code it comes with seems straight forward and was about where I thought my levels were.

These water test strips work just as described. I ordered these to test our laundry water hardness because we are starting to wash cloth diapers for our newborn. The color of the test strip could have been one of two results, but for our purposes it gave us enough of a sense of our water hardness. If you need something super precise, you may want to get a different strip because we couldn't tell the difference between the two colors.
Candice R.
I didn't realize there were so many in this package when I ordered. I got 30 test strips and they worked beautifully. Had no reservations about double checking since I have so many tests. They both turned out the same. It'll be perfect since we will be moving often and I have enough to last a long time.

Bought this to test Water Hardness. Worked perfect. As I suspected I had very hard water (250+ GPM). The test allowed me to estimate roughly 270 GPM based on matching it to the supplied color chart. I then had a professional service come in and they measured it at 280GPM. I ended up buying a water softening system for the house - an expensive investment I felt more comfortable buying since this test allowed me to confirm via another source, that my water was in fact hard.

Answered our questions about our water softener in a flash.

These are great for testing water hardness in your washer!

Very nice and easy to use. Works real nice. I tested the water upstream of the water softener and it showed it to be real hard with the hardness reading. Then I tested the water down stream and it showed to be real soft like it is supposed to be. It verified that I had the softener at the right setting so I was not wasting salt.
The colors were easy to read.

We were wondering why our skin was drying out, our towels felt hard, clothes dingy, and white spots all over our dishes from the dishwasher. These strips told us what we suspected-- extremely hard water. We bought calgon for the clothes and lemishine for the dishes, both of which work great. Still trying to figure out what to do about the shower since we're in an apartment and a water softener is not an option. Test strips worked perfectly!
Jake P.
I'm not sure these are the most accurate measurement of water hardness, but I do love using them to check my water softeners function. I take a glass and fill it with water from the tap that is not softened and then again with the tap that is softened. They work great for comparison.
Pete K.
Had the water tested by a company that was going to sell me a water softening system. I told him I was having a water testing kit delivered tomorrow. To make sure he was not going to exaggerate the results. This testing kit was only one point less than the chemical test from the testing company. My conclusion would be that this kit is pretty accurate.

Quick and easy to use by all but the blind
Unlike some of the others, I found it easy to compare the strip color to the color code. Maybe these other guys are color blind, I don't know. I installed a water softener and wanted to know 1) the incoming water hardness (this has to be entered on the water softener) and 2) the hardness of the softened water. I don't have a way of comparing the results to a calibrated meter, but the results seemed reasonable. I can periodically test the water to make sure the softener is still working properly since I have a baseline value for comparison.

Good option for measuring hardness of well water.
To calibrate a new water softener, I purchased the MHT Total Water Hardness Test Strips and, for comparison, the Industrial Test Systems WaterWorks Total Hardness Test Strips.
The MHT strips were either defective or are useless. First, the method of reading hardness requires comparing the range of colors on the test strip to the colors on the label of the bottle. The MHT colors are very close to each other, and if the test strips had actually shown any color change, it would have been difficult to match with a specific color on the bottle. In my case, it did not matter. In both very hard and very soft water the test strips showed the identical dark green color - essentially not discriminating between either sample.
On the other hand, the Industrial Test Systems WaterWorks Total Hardness Test Strips worked very well. The range of colors available for comparison on the bottle is quite broad, and makes it easy to distinguish one shade from the next. Further, in my case the test strip used in the hard water sample showed a dramatically different result than the strip used in the soft water sample, illustrating both that my water softener was working, and that the Industrial Test Systems test strips were performing as advertised.

I bought these to test the hardness of my water. We have a water softener and I want to make certain that the hardness is staying where I want it to be. They read quite fast which is really nice. I am pleased with this purchase

Really useful to check that your water softener is working properly.
This little kit with hardness-testing strips is invaluable for telling you if your water softener is doing its job. Where I live, the water is amazingly hard, and we have pretty frequent power outages that can affect the water softener's clock. Sometimes the thing quits without our knowing it, and our water begins to feel a tad 'chalky.' When that happens, I use this handy tester, and by golly, get the word to my husband that the softener is indeed on the fritz, so he goes out and resets it. Presto, the problem is fixed.
Derek
We bought these to test the water in our house to determine if our water softener system was working. The test strips worked for what we needed them for. You have to make sure to read the results right away. If you let the results sit and come back and look at it later, the color can change. We tested our water before and after our new water softener system and got different results. It helped us know when our new water softener system was working and when it wasn't.
