This Mercury colour test strip, from our SenSafe® brand allows for quick and accurate testing of high levels of mercury in water. This is a simple dip and read test and you will have your result within 2 minutes.
Our patented aperture strips are unique in the way the water flows through them and detects the mercury more accurately. This test can be used to detect mercury in water from various environments.
The precise colour chart is found on the back of the bottle and no other reagents or accessories are needed for this simple test. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets.
Note: this test will only detect Hg+2 ions in the sample. Other metals will interfere.
